Please note: The terms Domain Key and Domain Password mean the same thing.
All old domain keys have now been converted to a new 6 character format and are now known as domain passwords.
Old domain keys were converted as per the following examples:
| Old Key |
New Password |
| 4567 |
A04567 (that's A-ZERO-4567) |
| 145 |
A00145 |
| D678 |
A0D678 |
| AU34-56 |
AU34-56 |
Old domain keys may have been presented in this format:
somedomain.com.au|3567
Where 3567 is the domain key. In this case the new password for somedomain.com.au would be A03567.
Once you have your domain on the Explorer system, you can change the domain password at any time (using the
edit domain link from the domain list). Passwords must be between 6 and 32 characters in length and contain
at least one letter and one number.
